She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Smolen and Estelle Smolen (Kosla); her husband William S. Gorgol; and her brother Lawrence Smolen. She is survived by: her children, Cari Lynn Gorgol and Brett W. Gorgol; her grandsons, Brandon Gorgol and Justin Gorgol (Gaby); her great grandchildren, Asher William, Wyatt Michael and Brooks William; and her sister Christine (Ronald).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Friedrichs Funeral Home, Inc. (320 W Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056).
