She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Arthur Smith; and her siblings, Lawrence Higgins, Thomas Higgins, Kathy Higgins and Debbie Donovan (Michael).
She is survived by: her children, Brian (Donna) and Melanie Buchanan (Deon Thelwell); her grandchildren, Monica (Ryan), Matthew (Izolda), Michaela (Robert), Jhordan, Payton, DeOnna, Catherine (Dillon), Chase, Blake and Jaden; her great grandchildren, Liam, George, Charlotte, Eleanor and Harrison; and her brother Bruce Smith.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services LTD. (330 W Golf Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60195). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
