Marlene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Knych and Stephanie Knych; and her son Greg. She is survived by: her husband Frank; her daughters, Sheryl Spooner (Tom), Jennifer Zajack and Susan Clark (Mike); her grandchildren, Stephanie Graham (Justin), Melissa Atwell (Ethan), Amanda Spooner, Anthony, Dylan Zajack and Addison Clark; and her great grandchildren, Easton and Elle Graham.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (215 Thomas More Dr, Elgin, IL 60123). A burial was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery (1185 W Algonquin Rd, Palatine, IL 60067).
