Martin Katz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin Katz of Schaumburg, Illinois, who passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Martin Katz to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Katz and Esther Katz; his parents-in-law, Nate and Miriam Merkin; his brother Jonathan Katz (Maria); and his brother-in-law Alan Merkin (Barbara).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Katz; his children, Aric Katz (Krystyna), Jamie Graver (Justin) and Dana Katz (Chris Taramelli); his grandchildren, Adelyn, Makenna, Scarlett, Everleigh, Kaia, Mason, Palmer and Camden; and his sister-in-law Joyce Merkin.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Buffalo Grove Chapel - Under The (195 N Buffalo Grove Rd, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089). A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 4:30 PM and at 9:00 PM at the Shalom Memorial Park (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A shiva will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barbara and Skip's Residence (1712 Stratton Pond Ln, Schaumburg, IL 60194).
