He is survived by: his spouse Shakriben; his children, Shilpaben Patel (Mahendrabhai), Kailash Patel (Jagdish) and Ashish Patel (Avani); his grandchildren, Avani, Vishal (Rajvi), Arti (Nirav), Krupa, Shruti, Chintan and Ishaan; and his brother Dhayabhai Patel (Hasumatiben).
