He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer Kich; his parents, Alfred Kich and Emma Kich; and his sisters, Ruth Stelter and Gertrude Kummer.

He is survived by: his wife Judith "Judy" Kich; his children, Cynthia Zoellick (Jeffrey) and Phillip Kich (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Casey, Jennifer, Emily and Ryan; and his great grandchild Zephyr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the church.
