He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rhoda; his children, Joan Riedel (Richard) and Mark Sandidge; his grandchildren, Joshua Riedel (Katie), Allison Hoff (Alec) and Jacob Riedel; his great grandchild Jaxson; and his sister Dolores Anslow (late Russell).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory of Streamwood (1640 S Green Meadows Blvd, Streamwood, IL 60107). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mount Emblem Cemetery (520 E Grand Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
