She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; her children, Mimmo and Domenic Giannone; and her sibling Nicola Giannone (Diane). She is survived by: her children, Rocchina Zaccaro (Jack) and Maria DeFrenza (Rino); her grandchildren, Serafina Abernathy (Dan), Girolamo Zaccaro (Gianna) and Kayla Collins (Christopher); her great grandchildren, Charli Serafina Abernathy and Lorenzo Lewis Zaccaro; and her sisters, Teresa (late Girolamo Colatorti), Nina Santucci (late Palmino) and Nicoletta Lopane (Tony).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cumberland Chapels (Friel Funeral Directors) (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Beatrice Catholic Church (Holy Virgin Martyrs Parish) (4141 Wagner Ave, Schiller Park, IL 60176). An entombment was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the St Joseph Catholic Cemetery (3100 Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171, USA).
