Elaine leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Elaine’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Elaine will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Wayne and Mary Ethel Montgomery (Harvey); her former husband Jimmy Hester; and her son Jimmy Hester II. She is survived by: her daughter Carrie Miranda of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her significant other Robert "Bob" Gibbs of Sesser; and her granddaughter Isabelle Marie Voss. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished family members.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home (11 S Hickory St, Du Quoin, IL 62832). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
