He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Liles and Lorraine Gause (Thurnau). He is survived by: his wife Anastasia "Anna" Gause (Latta); his children, James Warren Gause Jr., Lynn Eilers, Kim Gause and Anastasia Davison; and his brother Fred Gause. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home (209 N Emma St, Christopher, IL 62822). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
