John Watson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Watson of Sesser, Illinois, who passed away on April 27, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wray Watson and Ann Watson (Howe); and his siblings, Robert Watson and Elsie "Toots" Pope. He is survived by: his sister Patricia Kanovsky of Homosassa, FL; his stepchildren, Mikah Salonies of Wentzville, MO and Deric Brookman of Charlotte, NC; and his stepgrandchildren, Karsen and Will.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Methodist Church, envelopes will be available at the church.
