He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ohms and Hazel Ohms (Bertholl); and his wife JoAnn Ohms (Gaertner). He is survived by: his children, Alan Ohms (Lori) of Eolia, MO, Don Ohms (Becky) of Sparta, IL and Julie Heine (Don) of Sesser; his grandchildren, Amanda Searby (Josh), Victoria Halfacre (Eric) and Leo Ohms; his great grandchildren, Atlas, Jonah, Zoe and Scout; and his brothers, Charles Ohms (Alice) of Jackson, MO and Bill Ohms (Lucille) of Waterloo, IL..
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to Residential Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
