He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Conner and Adeline Conner (Key); his former wife Glenda Conner; his sister Karen Stroud; and his nephews, Billy Stroud and Dennis Eubanks.

He is survived by: his wife Luella Conner of Sesser; his children, Bruce Conner (Celsa) of Holland, Rhonda Dumbar of Benton, Kevin Conner of Sesser and Tommy Conner of Zeigler; his grandchildren, Eric, Reign, Abel, Courtland, Heather, Tara, Catie, Cassady, Cheyenne and Amber; his brother Bill Phinney (Debbie) of Marion; and his niece Roxanna Eubanks. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
