With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Pottinger in Shabbona, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2026 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy T. Wollitz and Clara B. Wollitz (Garrison); her husband William Pottinger; the father of her children Sonny Richardson; her son-in-law Greg Stroh; her grandson Douglas Richardson; her brother Roy Wollitz; and her brother-in-law Harry Sweger.
She is survived by: her children, Vanessa Stroh of Rochelle, IL and Michael Richardson (Wendy) of King George, VA; her grandchildren, Gerri Hanson (John), Alex Richardson and Carolee Wilson; and her sisters, Shelia Sweger of Hardin, KY and Kathy Manni (Philip) of St. Joseph, MI.. She is also survived by great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
