With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Simon of Shannon, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Simon and Clara Simon (Wirtz); his siblings, Joseph Simon, Norman Simon, Jim Simon, Janice Rausch (Duane), Betty Hageman (Jerome) and Gina Keltgen (Darwin); and his child Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Simon; his children, Katie Miller (Jason) of Brookings, SD, Shawn Simon (Christine) of Grand Forks, ND, P. J. Simon of Brookings, SD, Haley Simon of Freeport and Nick Simon of Brookings, SD; his grandchildren, Luke, Kjerstin, James Miller, Summer, Allie and Aubree Simon; his siblings, Jack Simon (John) of Water Valley, MS, Marjean Stotz (Lee) of Tolstoy, SD and Mary Jo Mueller of Cashton, WI; and his sister-in-law Gale Simon.
