He was predeceased by: his father Donald L. Verbout; and his brother Thomas Riggen (Roxanne Stone). He is survived by: his mother Elaine Verbout (Bumphrey); his wife Roxanne Stone; his daughter Jamie Swearingen (Matt); his grandchildren, Liam of Sheffield, Harper of Sheffield and Quinn Swearingen of Sheffield; and his siblings, Donald E. Verbout (Lisa) of Neponset and Deborah Verbout of Neponset. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
