He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Krumscheid and Frank Krumscheid; his adoptive father Anthony Hebel; his son William J. Hebel Jr.; and his brother-in-law Peter Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Carlene Galassi; his daughters, Patricia Corwin (Al) and Peggy Maes (Julius); his grandchildren, Caitlyn DeMay (Adam), Kari Kipp (Tyler) and Cassi Pistole (Derek); his great grandchildren, Cali Pistole, Cambri Pistole, Rilynn DeMay, Jaelynn DeMay, Maesie Kipp and Carli Pistole; his sister-in-law Mary Lynn Meyer of LaSalle; and his cousin James Felton (Mary Ann) of California. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Sheffield Lions Club or to St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
