She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Eugene and Dorothy Ellen Mills (Edmundson); her husband Ernest "Ernie" D. Richardson; her daughter Vicki Hightower; her son-in-law Mike Sands; her granddaughter Sara Mae Bradbury; her sisters, Wanda "Sis" Weiss (Kenny) and Dena Mills; and her brother-in-law Batch Batchelor.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Sands of Shelbyville, Tammy Thompson (Joe) of Windsor and Ernie Richardson (Brenda) of Shelbyville; her son-in-law Mike Hightower of Shelbyville; and her siblings, Jeanne Batchelor of Springfield, IL, Sandi Beck (Lacy) of Shelbyville, IL, Jan Thompson (Dean) of Herrick, IL and Tom Mills (Carol) of Herrick, IL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, Arthritis Foundation or the National Kidney Foundation.
