With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine E. Welton (Shelbyville, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2026 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, Roy Kidd and Carol Kidd of Westervelt; her husband C. Dewayne Welton; her children, Devin (Monica) and Caitlyn Welton; and her pets, Hanz of Belvidere Illinois and Harper of Belvidere Illinois.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Howe and Yockey Funeral Home (415 N Broadway St, Shelbyville, IL 62565). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
