She was predeceased by: her parents, Fay Lewis and Eliza "Eleanor" Atteberry (Pearson); her daughter Patti Lynn Kitchen; and her siblings, June Goebel and Neal Atteberry.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne; her son Tom Furr (Dianna) of Shelbyville, IL; her son-in-law Douglas Kitchen of Arthur, IL; her brothers, John Atteberry (Sue) of Decatur, IL and James Atteberry (Dianne) of Shelbyville, IL; and her grandchildren, Matthew Kitchen (Sarah) of Sullivan, IL, Isaac Kitchen (Drew) of Arthur, IL, Sydni Furr of Owensboro, KY and Maggie Furr-Mowery (Charlie) of Warrenville, IL. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Howe & Yockey Funeral Home (415 N Broadway St, Shelbyville, IL 62565). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Glenwood Cemetery (308 E North 6th St, Shelbyville, IL 62565).
Memorials may be given to Cornerstone Community Fellowship in Shelbyville.
