He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bendler and Gladys Bendler (Scrogin). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sue Swiney; his children, Michele Saddoris (Craig) of Shelbyville, IL, Robert Bendler of Findlay, IL and Corrie Stauder (Kent) of Findlay, IL; his siblings, Ron Bendler (Suzie) of Galena, IL and Karen Ladge of Taylorville, IL; and his grandchildren, Skyler Bendler, Will Bendler, Kylie Stauder, Karlie Stauder, Kate Stauder, Madison Woolard (Cyrus), Myles Foor, Dallas Foor, Cole Johnson and Corrin Saddoris.

Memorials may be given to the Okaw Valley FFA and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 N. Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.
