With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jody Lynn Stevens of Shelbyville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jody Lynn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jody Lynn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilma Louise Stevens (Vadakin) and Edsil Earl Stevens; her stepfather LeRoy Plunkett; her sister Teresa K. Stevens; and her pet Billy Jack.
She is survived by: her children, Jobriath "Jobe" Michael Stevens of Findlay, IL and Cheyenne Dawn Robertson of Kansas; and her granddaughters, Lisa Stevens, Trinity Brown and Tylee Harless.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Howe and Yockey Funeral Home (415 N Broadway St, Shelbyville, IL 62565).
Memorials may be given to Saving Orphaned Animals in Shelby County.
