John O. Stewardson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John O. Stewardson of Shelbyville, Illinois, who passed away on July 10, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John O. Stewardson to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lane Stewardson and Vera Lillian Stewardson (Oakley); his brother Ray Stewardson; and his pet Sugar. He is survived by: his siblings, Jennifer Harvey (Jack) of Shelbyville, IL, Wanda Brooks of Shelbyville, IL, Paul Stewardson (Marla) of Shelbyville, IL and Sara Blackwell (Dave) of Eugene, OR. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; and nine great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Glenwood Cemetery (308 E North 6th St, Shelbyville, IL 62565).
