With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael R. Hart of Shelbyville, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Charles and Monte Marie Hart (Furr); his sister Barbara "Bobbie" Hilligoss; his brother-in-law Don Shoaff; and his nephew Tyler Hilligoss.
He is survived by: his children, Christina Louise Schwenke (Mike) of Mattoon, IL and Ryan Michael Hart (Kayla) of Mattoon, IL; his sister Marla Shoaff of Shelbyville, IL; his brother-in-law Floyd Hilligoss of Windsor, IL; and his grandchildren, Kaylee Louise, Paige Marie Schwenke, Quinn Michael and Adrienne LeeAnn Hart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Howe and Yockey Funeral Home (415 N Broadway St, Shelbyville, IL 62565). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
