He was predeceased by: his parents, Berlyn Poe and Violet Poe (Fitzgerald); his daughter Melissa Jones; and his siblings, Edward Poe and Brenda McKinney.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Poe (Randy Grubaugh) of Shumway, Illinois, Tracy Gathe of Shelbyville, Illinois and Theron Poe of Gilbert, Arizona.; his grandchildren, Caleb Poe (Colby), Desiree Yeager, Tisha Niebrugge, Amanda Schaufler (Lee), Damion King (Felicia), Ashton Pietzman and Myah Gathe; his siblings, Robert Poe (Janet) of Teutopolis, Illinois, Michael Poe (Judy) of Effingham, Illinois and Terry Poe (Susan) of Effingham, Illinois; and his son-in-law David Jones of Newton. He is also survived by 17 Great Grandchildren.
