It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Sands of Shelbyville, Illinois, born in Westervelt, Illinois, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ross Sands and Flora Sands (Sayers); and his brother Bill Sands. He is survived by : his sons, Mike, Martin and John; his wife Shari; his daughters, Vicki and Dawn; his grandchildren, Mike and Molly Blaha; and his children, Jake Call, Levi Call and Rowan Sands.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM.

Memorials may be given to Shelby Christian Church.
