We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Stephen D. Matheny of Shelbyville, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Kathleen Virginia Matheny (Holder) and Everett Matheny; his siblings, Michael E. Matheny (Brenda) and Nancy D. Daniels (Ralph); his granddaughter Hannah Wallis; and his father-in-law Norwood Rodgers.

He is survived by : his wife Brenda Kay Rodgers Pruemer; his children, Jamie Wallis (Chad) of Shelbyville, IL and Josh Matheny of Shelbyville, IL; his stepchildren, Jeff Pruemer (Casey) of Shelbyville, IL and Jill Pruemer of Shelbyville, IL; his grandchildren, Seth, Tyler, Arika Wallis and Logan Satterfield; his stepgrandchildren, Mason and Amelia Pruemer; and his mother-in-law Pat Rodgers of Carmi, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the family and mailed to the funeral home.
