Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Althea leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jerry Burgard and Thyra Nichols; her husband Todd; her sons, Ayden and Cailen; her siblings, Chris Burgard (Laurie Burgard) of Manteno, Keith Burgard (late Charles Allman-Burgard) of Chicago and Jennifer Hanouw (Tim Hanouw) of Sheridan, Illinois.; and her parents-in-law, Jim and Margaret Russell. She was also cherished by Her parents and three surviving siblings/spouses.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Beverage Family Funeral Home (104 Terry St, Sandwich, IL 60548). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
