It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Richard Jackson of Sheridan, Illinois, born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Russell Zimmerman and Helen Zimmerman (Vater); and his stepson Mitchell Cole. He is survived by : his wife Arlene Hougas Cole of Sheridan; his sons, Richard Jackson (Lisa) of Manitou Springs, CO and Donald Jackson (Laurie) of Toluca, IL; his stepchildren, Marcy Black of Independence, MO, Kristen Stevens (Anthony) of Yorkville and Adam Cole (Tara) of Williford, AR; his grandchildren, Luke Jackson (Lauren), Brooke Green (Rory), Katie Jo Jackson, Marshall Cole, Max Black, Kathrynn, Michael, Jacab and Brooklynn Cole; his great grandchildren, Ruby, Noah, Huck and Maisel; and his sister Bonnie Dziewior (Jerry) of Mesa, AZ..
