She was predeceased by : her parents, Christian Gerhardt and Emilie Gerhardt; and her brother Harold Gerhardt. She is survived by : her husband David Schmidt; her daughters, Amy Schmidt and Brittany Scheib (Alec); her granddaughter Kayla Scheib; her siblings, Rose Gerhardt, Barbara Orstead, Phil Gerhardt (Tina) and Rudy Gerhardt (Joyce); and her pet Charlie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
