It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Alan Rissman of Sheridan, Illinois, born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Rissman and Margie Rissman (Templeman); his siblings, Dale Lee Conrad and Kelly Rissman; and his pet Sally.

He is survived by: his children, Julie Kruizenga (Seth), Brian Rissman (Lauren) and Burke Adam Rissman (Emily); his grandchildren, Karli, Cortni Kruizenga, Bryn Rissman, Alexandra, Gabriel and Jaxon Rissman; and his siblings, Kim Duffy (Kim), Wayne Rissman (Doris), Dick Rissman (Marcia) and Reid Rissman (Mary). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
