He is survived by : his wife Cheryl; his daughters, Kay Wackerlin and Kellie Hounshell; his grandchildren, Kylie Wackerlin, Kira Wackerlin and Gabriel Brown; and his sisters, Dorothy Terry (Al), Alice Shaw and Helen Hanson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A reception was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dunn Family Funeral Home (1801 Douglas Rd, Oswego, IL 60543).
