She is survived by : her significant other Donn Bedford; her children, Ken Shehorn, Rita Shehorn, Nina Shehorn and Neta Shehorn; and her stepchildren, Jeremy Bedford (Taira), Jamie Bedford (Marissa), Michelle Bedford (Joe) and Amanda Bedford. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

“My deepest Sympathy to Kay's family. Kay was my neighbor at Wildwood for many years. Then she and her son Ken shared in the care of my Mother Wilma at where they worked. Rita was a friend if my daughter Cynthia in school. She was a very kind person and a caring lady. Sincerely, Donna Merchant”
