He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burkhart and Lois Burkhart (Tuttle); his son Grant Evan Burkhart; his brother Kent Burkhart; and his nephew Brandon Rogers.
He is survived by: his siblings, Karla Johnson, Kevin Burkhart (Vicki), Kimberly Martin, Kathleen Astin (Gary) and Kristi Erickson; and his granddaughter Laurelei Burkhart. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eighner Funeral Home (606 E Arnold St, Sandwich, IL 60548). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 12:15 PM.
