He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Smedley and Violet Smedley; and his former wife Lois. He is survived by: his wife Candace; his daughters, Cheryl Glombicki (Joe), Denise Mazzocchi (Paul) and Susan Smedley; his stepdaughters, Ashley Franklin (Brady) and Heather Joelson (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Jason, Justin Glombicki (Rosa), Ashley, Matthew Mazzocchi, Kendall, Carson Furniss-Smedley, Addison Franklin, Ava, William and Henry Joelson.
