It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carole Ann Knous of Sherman, Illinois, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto and Myrtle; her husband Carl Knous; and her brother Gene Hubbartt. She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Hofing (Steve) of Champaign and Carrie Oller (Jim) of Athens, Illinois; her grandchildren, Jenny Vyas (Bimal), Kristy Wilson (Gerald) and Matthew Oller (Mackenzie); and her sister-in-law Bev Knous. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren; five great grandchildren; many step-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (711 S 6th St, Petersburg, IL 62675). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (19006 IL-123, Petersburg, IL 62675).
