He was predeceased by: his parents, Teddie Marie Reynolds Phillips and George Ray Phillips; his stepfather Walter S. Osgood of Galesburg, IL; his brother George Edward "Ed" Phillips; and his grandparents, Ed H. and Maude Reynolds of McKenzie, TN.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Gretchen E. Ruebner Healey (Chris) of Barrington, RI; and his son Tristan.
