She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest "Bing" Lomelino and Pauline Lomelino (Rilling); her husband Joseph Z. Slavens; her close friend William Bridges; and her sister Renee Lomelino.
She is survived by: her sons, Reginald Slavens (Dorise) of Colorado Springs, CO, Jeffrey Slavens (Sue) of Colorado Springs, CO and Mark Slavens (Deana Poe) of Greenview. She is also survived by four grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Williamsville United Methodist Church.
