She was predeceased by: her parents, George Patkes and Dorothy Patkes (Hudspeth); her spouse Russell E. Kalb; and her siblings, Thomas Patkes and Joann Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Kalb (Julia) of Edwardsville and Brenda Carter (Mike) of Sherman; her grandchildren, Connor, Kyle Carter, Grace and Megan Kalb; and her siblings, Jackie Rocco (Jeff), Mick Patkes (Sue) and Judy Jerome (John). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (112 6th St, Riverton, IL 62561). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James Catholic Church.
