It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Basso of Sherman, Illinois, who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie Owsley and Helen Owsley; her husband Gerald "Bud" Basso; her children, John Hobart Basso and Laura Hobart; and her siblings, Arline Lovell and Donald "Hoppy" Owsley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Yager (Wayne) and Dawn Hardy (John); her grandchildren, Amber, Denise, Robert, Katie and Patrick; and her siblings, Violet, Sharon, James, Bernard, Craig and Max.
