She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jenot and Margaret Jenot (Clinton); her son Paul Smarjesse; and her siblings, Richard, Thomas Robert Jenot, Margaret, Kathleen Tranquilli and Mary Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Hitt of Springfield, IL, Patty Perez (Ramon) of Trinity, FL, Janet Rawlings (John Henrikson) of Athens, IL and Michael Smarjesse (Rhonda) of St. Anne, IL; her sister Yvonne Fanning of Springfield; and her sister-in-law Judy Jenot of Springfield, IL. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities or to the Alzheimer's Association.
