Ruth Ann Roach Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2022, at the age of 80, Ruth Ann Roach of Sherman, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Ludwig and Josephine Ludwig (Hartke); her husband Ronnie Joe Roach; and her brothers, Lloyd and Robert Ludwig.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Roach of Rochester and Lianne Lowe (Alan) of Knoxville, TN; her grandchildren, Megan Powell (Jordan), Aaron Gantt (Jessica Campbell), Joe Roach and Annie Gantt (Nathan Cathey); her great grandchildren, Kinley and Hadley Powell; her siblings, Kenne Ludwig (Jeanne) of Florida, Norma Grunloh (Ed) of Wisconsin, Gerald Ludwig (Diana) of Effingham and Leo Ludwig (Jennifer) of Florida; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ludwig of Effingham and Judy Ludwig of Arizona. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ruth's great-grandchildren's college education fund.
