We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Sam A. Montalbano of Sherman, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Montalbano and Jane Montalbano; his wife Carole L. Lawson; his son Terry Montalbano; and his siblings, Ann Montalbano, Mamie Unser, Frank and Tony Montalbano.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Hampton (Hoyt) of Springfield, Mark Montalbano (Donna) of Chatham and John (Becky Ward) of Springfield; and his sister Marquerite Culton of Springfield. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Little Flower or Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.
