She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph L. Molohon and Teresa Abel Molohon; her husband Dick; her sisters, Rita Bancroft, Helen Schmidt, Rose Mary Dixon and Regina Quinn; her granddaughter Emily Buch; and her daughter-in-law Kathy Kirchgesner.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Green (Greg) of Athens, Rick Kirchgesner, Jr. (Tami) of Springfield, Betty Jones (Bob) of Springfield, Jim Kirchgesner (Debbie) of Springfield, Mary Ellen Buch (David) of Springfield and Margie Gehres (Richard) of Clinton; and her grandchildren, Becky Green, Steve Green, Scott Kirchgesner (Eliza), Alison Gerringer (Jacob), Julie Patterson (Darren), Jessica Hoecker, David Hoecker (Krystal), Micheal Hill (Tammy), William Hill (Shannon), Cailynn Godfrey, Amanda Buch, Sarah Kilian (Bryce), Kate Gehres (Jorge Ortiz) and Rose Gehres (Kolton Spaugh). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Sherman (2626 E Andrew Rd, Sherman, IL 62684). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (902 St John Dr, Sherman, IL 62684).
