She was predeceased by: her parents, Orrie Wade and Nita Wade (Ruff); her husband James E. Lawson; and her siblings, Ruby Baker, Geneva Puckett, Jean Donaker, John Wade and Don Wade.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindi Lawson of Springfield, IL, Kathy Levin (John) of Sherman, IL and Nancy Durham (John) of Summerville, SC; her grandchildren, Amanda Boston (Mitch), Aaron Barbee, Allyssa Black (Josh), Abigail Nicol (Andrew), Ben Levin, Leah Levin, Hannah Cobb (Matt), Maddie Durham (Abraham) and Cameron Durham; her great grandchildren, Jackson Boston, Owen Nicol and Aryeh Kemmerlin; and her sister Leta Bruckner of Shelbyville, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
