He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas McMeekan and Leona McMeekan (Hurstrom); his former wife Ella Mae; and his nephew Rodney. He is survived by: his wife Judy M. Brown; his children, Kathy Slattery (Chris), Gary McMeekan (Robin McGee), Larry McMeekan Jr. (Peggy) and Kandy DeKeyser (Scott); and his brother Franklin McMeekan (Janet). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
