It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Lingafelter of Sherrard, Illinois, who passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Lingafelter (Cozadd) and Lyle Lingafelter Sr.; and his sister Patricia Wright. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hays; his children, Kevin Lingafelter and Rhonda Schumacher (Jon); his granddaughter Amanda Brocksieck (Leroy); his great grandchildren, Ian and Raelyn Brocksieck; and his siblings, Sharon Bailey (Terry) and Larry Lingafelter (Louise).
