He is survived by: his wife Marta Avila of Sherrard; his children, Brenda Avila-Lopez (Brian) of Sherrard, Milagro Avila of Sherrard, Samantha Avila of Sherrard and Sergio Alberto Avila of Sherrard; his grandchild Xiomara Avila; and his siblings, Angel Avila of Barranca de Otates, Mexico., Emilio Avila of Barranca de Otates, Mexico., Javier Avila Balcazar of Barranca de Otates, Mexico., Celestino Avila of Barranca de Otates, Mexico., Hortencia Avila Balcazar of Barranca de Otates, Mexico., Victor Avila of Barranca de Otates, Mexico. and Senorina Avila Balcazar of Barranca de Otates, Mexico.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dennison Funeral Home - Viola (1601 13th St, Viola, IL 61486). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (1386 252nd St, Matherville, IL 61263).
