She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Whitaker and Vida Whitaker (Watkins); and her siblings, Wilbur, Estel, Robert, Delbert, Jack, Vernon "Pete" Whitaker, Irene Carroll, Virginia Cairns, Evelyn Wendle and Betty Cotton.

She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Valerie and Anthony "Tony" (Tammy); her granddaughter Valerie Kathleen; her children, Katie and Rivers of Missouri; Art "Bill" (Alice).

Pre-COVID she often served funeral dinners at her church.
