He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burns and Catherine Burns (Drew); his wife Mary L. Burns (Podhorn) of Patrick's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Betty Lynch, Helen Allen and John Burns.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Burns. He is also survived by seven sons, seven daughters, six sons-in-law and seven daughters-in-law.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Ghost Church (306 N Washington St, Jerseyville, IL 62052).
